Welcome to The Tablescaper.
Here’s a real punch of Harvest coming right to ya!
I love how this shot picks up the mums in my back yard.
It all started with this amazing Marimekko fabric which I got at the Crate and Barrel Outlet. I have visited the Marimekko store in Manhattan. Click HERE to see the post.
While Halloween may get a punch of color, you rarely see this kind of drama for Harvest.
So fun to pull out my tortoise shell goblets I purchased an age ago at some fabulous online sale at Horchow.
My wooden board provided a touch of rustic to anchor the table. Each little pumpkin is nestled in it’s own little round cut out. I purchased this at Brimfield with visions of three little potted plants sitting in it. I’m sure that will come, but for now it’s the perfect spot for my pumpkins.
While a part of me never wants to let go of summer…
…I’m glad our temperatures have finally shifted and you can feel that touch of fall in the air.
One of the many things I love about living in New York…
I embrace that little nip in the air…
…and enjoy throwing on a sweater.
This table has got spunk!
These wonderful pinecone bowls were purchased at Christmas Tree a couple of years ago. It’s always such a hit or miss experience shopping there. Sometimes there is nothing and other times, there are true treasures.
This set of brown drip has been in my family for ages. I never cared for it as a child but now enjoy its depth of color.
And a host of chargers and mats (both Christmas Tree purchases) are great building blocks. The mats were in last week’s tablescape with an entirely different look.
Napkin rings were from Pier One. The scrolling reminds me of the vines on the Marimekko fabric.
Hope you’re enjoying your fall.
