Welcome to the Tablescaper.
It’s Fall and…
…Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen issued her White Challenge.
So it began.
On one of those material hunts this summer with Kathleen, I found this material. I love the “suit” nature of the cloth.
My mother-in-law’s Lenox immediately came to mind…
…and then I found these wonderful leaf bowls at HomeGoods…
…and it all came together.
These neat crackled owl napkin rings added a playful touch.
The glow of candlelight always adds a bit of warmth.
Fall is the perfect season to showcase nature’s bounty.
The pumpkin on the left is real, while the others are faux (from Crate and Barrel Outlet). Pretty hard to tell, even in person.
I always chuckle when I look back at how a table came together. So many different purchases from so many different places and times.
At a tag sale a couple of years ago I came across these very 60s glasses. Not my favorite era or color, but for the price I couldn’t pass them up. They certainly lent themselves to this table.
These little china spoons from the Crate and Barrel Outlet would certainly be a great way to enjoy your luscious soup.
She had some very fun side dishes.
Curious to see how everyone else rose to the challenge!
