A St. Patty’s Supper

St. Paddy's Supper 033

Welcome to The Tablescaper.

St. Paddy's Supper 006

I always laugh when it come to St. Patrick’s Day,

St. Paddy's Supper 043

…not only am I not Irish, Mr. Scaper isn’t Irish either.

St. Paddy's Supper 008

But that doesn’t seem to stop me from celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Paddy's Supper 028

After all, Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen is hosting her fabulous…

St. Paddy's Supper 013

St. Patrick’s Day Crawl.

St. Paddy's Supper 001

Who would want to miss that?

St. Paddy's Supper 019

So I’ve pulled out my green to celebrate.

St. Paddy's Supper 021

I put together a tablescape EVERY week,

St. Paddy's Supper 022St. Paddy's Supper 023and obviously not all of them actually get used.

St. Paddy's Supper 024St. Paddy's Supper 025But this one sure did!

St. Paddy's Supper 026

In fact we were dining at it for several meals prior to my photographing it…

St. Paddy's Supper 003

…and I was getting worried that the runner would get stained!

St. Paddy's Supper 036

I love it’s casualness.

St. Paddy's Supper 034

It has a pull up a chair quality.

Very Irish! Love the centerpiece. The salad plates are used my favorite wine stems (have them in green and black)...I almost did then at the last minute decided to go with something fancier.

You know they say that EVERYBODY'S Irish on St. Patrick's Day, so celebrate on!!! I know I will be, too! This is so pretty, and I love the centerpiece! You always have a way with putting things together in such an inviting way...and this "pull up a chair" quality shines through brightly on this one! Enjoy your celebration this weekend!!!

We are not Irish either, but who can resist this great excuse to celebrate? You are brave to let the family near the table before the photographer does her thing--no one touches mine!! We eat at more than half of my scapes, but definitely not all. Your table is very inviting. I'm sure your family feels the warmth. Linda

I hope my post went through! I just got an "oops...error" from Blogger. I think it hiccuped!

Anyway, I said your fresh greenery down the center of your table reminds me of Spring. All your green pieces are lovely. My Mom says Everybody is Irish on St. Patrick's Day.
Thanks for the smiles!
