Welcome to Seasonal Sundays.
With Valentine's Day over, thoughts turn to Spring.
It’s still a ways off, but the groundhog has encouraged us. I think it’s neat how a simple object can conjure up entire images of things to come. I recently purchased these two Majolica pieces in a local consignment shop. I believe they are my first pieces of Majolica. The basket was purchased at Christmas Tree Shops.
The deep veining and…
…many shades of pink and green add such interest.
Lily of the Valley always make me smile. The were always out for my Dad’s birthday in May and seem to be able to pop their heads through the ground regardless of the winter they’ve withstood.
And a little picket fence around it all. Thoughts of things to come…
Where are your thoughts at these days?

Beautiful Majolica and I do love Lilies of the Valley. Spring will be here, before we know it!!
Lilies of the Valley used to be in many bridal bouquets. That is what I think of when I see Lilies of the Valley.
We are planning a getaway for March. It is a possibility we will get snowed in, because we have had epic snow and ice in March. But if you have to be snowed in, that is the place to be.:-)
I love your green dishes. I will start decorating for spring next week.
Smiles,
Carol
Yes, yours is my last party for Valentine's I'm joining, the great Seasonal Sunday, I never want to miss..so thank you for it, this Sunday, my friend. I love that Majolica you got, I have a big cabbage leaf, that's it; but your recently acquired pieces are lovely and so is the basket. My thoughts are about some pretty things I also got on sale and will look great at a St. Pat's table! Have a wonderful week.

I am so ready for Spring. It can't get here soon enough. Such pretty dishes. Thanks for hosting. laurie
I am more than ready for spring. I also like lily of the valley. I think I need to plant some this year. Those dishes were a nice find in a thrift shop. xo
I don't think I have a single piece of majolica. I sure like your new pieces.
Love your Majolica! Lovely post and thanks for hosting.
Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Such pretty Majolica pieces and a cute basket to hold them! I also love Lilies of the Valley. They're so dainty, and they have such an amazing fragrance.
We're also looking ahead to spring, but it's REALLY cold here in N.C. tonight. There's a bitter wind, and it's supposed to be in the teens in the morning. Brrrr. :)
Thank you for hosting Seasonal Sundays and have a wonderful weekend!

Very pretty dishes. I am longing for spring, too. I keep buying spring flowers for the house, trying to hurry the seasons along. But I don't think it's working since it snowed today. lol
My thoughts are turning to spring too! I think you are getting a good start with this lovely vignette. The Majolica pieces are lovely with the colors and the fond memories Lily of the Valley holds for you.
Thanks for hosting.'

Great find on the majolica plates. They look cute in your basket.
It feels much like spring here, so got some garden work done today. Spring will be here before we know it. ~ Sarah
They are both eautiful Majolica plates! It has been very spring like here -- today was in the low 60's and very sunny.
Oh, your majolica plates are gorgeous. Glad I didn't see them first..:) Thanks for hosting another great party.
Lilly of the Valley is just about my favorite flower ever, so it goes without saying that I LOVE that plate! My daffodils are beginning to bloom. I am ready for spring! Dianne
Funny how with blue skies and a hint of warmth in the air, our thoughts turn to spring. It is a wonderful season of rebirth.
My mind is definately on Spring. Although I am sharing blues tonight. Love your Majolica. That is one thing I don't own. But I think they are so pretty. I have lily of the Valley in my garden. I adore their sweet little blooms. Happy thoughts of Spring!

Simply swooning over your magolica...especially the lily of the valley. :)
So many fun Spring occasions coming up! I love to decorate with real cabbages, they are so beautiful and colorful. You are going to have lots of fun with your new Majolica plates and cute wire basket!
Jenna
Love your post on the Majolica. I am also looking forward to spring. Thanks for hosting..
My thoughts are with spring too. It's all I can do not to pull out all my spring things and deck the house with yellow and green. Trying to wait very hard at least until March gets here.
I love your marjolica. I only have one piece of it, but I love it too. A great way to start the spring decorating.
Cindy
Thanks for hosting! Have a wonderful weekend!

Your plates are pretty, I love the lily of the valley:@)
Your Majolica is lovely! My thoughts turn to spring after Valentine's Day too, our jonquils are already showing their faces. Thanks for hosting!
Your new plates are so pretty! You are right that one simple object can turn our thoughts to spring! Even though we still have lots of snow here, I'm anxious to put away the "white of winter" and get out the "green! Thanks for hosting SS.

I love all you do and thank you again for hosting your fun party!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
You found two gorgeous pieces of majolica. I have a few things, but I often pass by many of them because they are just so darn ugly. It's 70* here today, but it could just as easily snow next week...or tomorrow for that matter. I was just thinking that I need to call our yard/garden man this week and get preparations started for Spring. The poor confused Jonquils will probably poke their darling little heads up in a few days. Thanks for hosting us. I'm on my way to link right now. Cherry Kay
I love your majolica pieces. It has such personality. I look forward to seeing those pieces in tablescapes and I am sure they need some cousins.
Thank you for hosting. Your majolica pieces are beautiful. A great find..Happy Sunday..Judy
Thanks so much for hosting! Life to the full, Melissa @ DaisyMaeBelle

Thanks for hosting. We are supposed to be getting a big storm tomorrow and into Thursday...let's hope the forecasters are off as usual!
I hope Spring arrives soon, and melts away all the snow and ice we have. But, I know it will come when it is ready, maybe by April!
