Welcome to The Tablescaper.
How do you start Valentine’s Day?
It’s nice to try to steal a few extra moments…
…in the morning…
…before you start the day…
…and spend them with your sweetheart.
Perhaps you could set the table…
…the night before.
To make the morning a bit more manageable.
But think of the feelings that will surround…
…your loved one throughout the day…
…from being greeted with a special treat at the start of the day.
There’s something special about a breakfast table…
Hope yours is special.
I’m wishing you and yours…
…a very happy Valentine’s Day.
TIP: I wasn’t using a tablecloth as I wanted the wood to show, but I didn’t want the flowers and serving pieces directly on the wood, so I used an extra napkin and laid it flat on the table.

Wow gorgeous setting!! I'm getting inspired to do a fancy dinner setting tomorrow night now!
What a lovely, romantic setting for a breakfast! Empty nesters could pull this off, but you folks with kids still at home would have to figure something out!
Stunning! Cannot imagine a more beautiful way to start Valentines Day!
Oh, I love your gorgeous table. The linens are so pretty too! You always do the mostest beautifulest tables.
Happy Valentine's Day,
Shelia ;)
You have so many interesting, pretty pieces in your collections.
I love the paisley napkins too. Just the right amount of light and dark on them.
Is that a little rack for toast? I would like to find one of those somewhere.
I love romantic special breakfasts! This table is lovely and would make anyone start their day with a smile.
hugs, Linda
Beautiful! I especially love the pretty place mats and napkins. So romantic!

Jane
WOW...I love this breakfast table...and I am not even a lover of pink!
I'd love to wake up to breakfast at this table! Blessings, Tammy
So pretty! All of the plates are wonderful, but the glasses are amazing, especially the smaller one. It is so unusual. Your husband should feel very special. Hope you both have a happy day tomorrow!
What a beautiful table for a Valentine's Day breakfast! Love your wonderful layers!
This is so pretty. I love when you set this table by the french doors. Always a treat to see.
So calm... and what a great start of the day celebrating the Love Day.
How I wish I could celebrate with my true love but we both working early.

What a romantic ❤ breakfast for two!
Let's start with the drapes ... please send them to me ... and I think starting the day with a special table is a wonderful idea. Everything here is beautiful. Linda
Beautiful napkins and placemats! This is such a sweet way to start the day. I think we had the same idea with our table placement this week! Dianne
Gorgeous.. I loved the "peeling" of the layers, each just as beautiful as the one before. Love the glassware too.. So pretty and such a very refined way to start the day. Happy Valentine's! xo marlis
A perfect pink Valentine confection! Love the softness, the gentleness in this design. I'm so sad for Kathleen, and I'm so happy to know that she has the blessing of a friend like you. Cherry Kay
Who wouldn't enjoy starting Valentine's day with that beautiful table! Happy Valentine's Day ;o)
Beautiful! I love every detail, especially the tablecloth and napkins.
What a way to start this special day! I love the way you layered so many plates, beautiful. I love your ceramic toast rack and all the little details and touches...my morning didn't look like that! I do have plans for an intimate setting this evening, however! Happy Valentine's
Jenna

What a wonderful way to start the day...wish my hubby had thought of that idea!
Oh my heart skipped a beat upon viewing this pink and white goodness!
I adore those wee S & P shakers.
You are a gal after my own heart. Thank you SO very much for linking up this Valentine goodness!
I wish I could get my husband up early enough to enjoy something like this before he dashes out the door in the morning before work! He lays in that bed 'til the last possible second, so I always just hand him a breakfast sandwich of some sort as he whizzes out the back door. This is truly a romantic table that would make any red-blooded American guy call in sick for the day! ;-)
What a beautiful way to start Valentine's Day...or any day. Great tip to put the napkin under the plates. Hope you had a great Valentine's Day.
Hugs..Babs
Oh how pretty! I also set a breakfast table (that we did not use). My husband loves his alone time in the morning with his book, coffee and toast! If I showed up in the middle of that, he would pretend to be nice about it:) I did however take the tablescape apart and redo it for dinner last night and we did enjoy dinner at the pretty table and loved it!
Sorry to be so late to this beautiful post. Hope you and your sweetheart had a special Valentine's Day. This table for two is full of romance. The stack of dishes and those pretty pink linens make me giddy. '-)
And those meringue cookies..........did you make those? They are the perfect treat!
OMGoodness, now this table would put ANYONE "in the mood" for love;) It is all gorgeous, I LOVE the chargers!!! Can you tell me where you got them??? Love the juice glasses too. I never make alot of fuss on Valentines but THIS has made me want to next year! XO, Pinky
This is so pretty! I love this intimate breakfast tablescape! Pink is my preferred color at Valentine's, rather than red, so this tablescpape really appeals to me. I love your paisley linens and the various shades of pink you've used on the table. Just beautiful!!
Did you receive the e-mail I sent with the information about the Dept. 56 village tree from my December post? I was afraid it might have gone into your Junk e-mail file.

This is so nice! I just love the heart plates and both of those lovely white plates!!! The whole table is lovely and romantic! Hope you had a great Valentine's Day!
