Welcome to The Tablescaper.
My youngest daughter is a HUGE Beatles fan…
…so for her birthday we had a…
…Beatles Bash!
The nuances of the party were lost on most of the young girls (glue dots worked well to attach the labels to the bottles)…
…but not my daughter!
She had a blast (we certainly got our use out of the circle punch I recently purchased)…
…helping to come up the ideas.
The mantel held authentic décor – from Mr. Scaper’s collection.
Festivities were also Beatles themed (including Beatle’s Rock Band, Beatles Bingo which we created, Beatles Monopoly) .
I went with a feel’n groovy theme for the table.
I used this great scrap book paper and placed it under glass at each place to serve as a charger.
Various colored tie dyed bandanas served as napkins.
Psychedelic yellow was the base…![]()
All topped off with a green apple!
Don’t forget your love beads.
Got a ticket to ride?
Dinner included…
…her favorite Cesar Salad… from an Octopus’s Garden in the shade.
Dessert included your very own Yellow Submarine (Twinkies and Skittles).
It was a sleep over…
…so of course breakfast…
…had to continue the theme.
The goodie bags were tie dyed too.
And contained…
…their own little goodies.
Do they even know how to write a letter anymore?
Hoping your home is filled with many celebrations.

I was certainly a huge Beatles fan back in the day as they say. I even still have the 3rd album on the shelf that you have. What a sweet and really original idea for your daughter's birthday party. It all looks so great. Happy New Year to you! Pamela
So cute and So clever! Loads of fun!
hugs, Linda
How fun and creative! I don't think you said how old your daughter is but its terrific that she's into a band that's so OLD! I'm not surprised the subtle references were lost on the other girls but I'm sure you had Beatles music playing in the background so they could get the connections! What a wonderful mother you are to put so much effort into her party and at this time of year!

You are so clever! I love this!
This party wins the prize! I'm a Beatles Fan so I smiled all the way through this. Must have been fun for you and Mr. Scaper to come up with all the clever touches for this party. What a special collection of records. Sadly we gave all our records away years ago.
You are not only a clever mother, you are one of the very most thoughtful moms I know. Not many would go to the lengths you do to make parties so personal and special. And all this following Christmas and New Year's. Kudos to you for Mom of the Year!
Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.......Sarah
What an adorable party theme! Happy New Year and thank you for joining Home Sweet Home!

My 14 year old daughter (obviously a kindred spirit to your daughter) is going crazy over this party! Very clever!
Awww what a perfect party for your darling daughter you planned. The girls must've loved every little detail. What a great theme!
Okay, the young girls (other than your daughter) may not have "gotten it" or appreciated it, but their parents sure will when they see those goodie bags! Awesome post - took me right back to the sixties - in particular August of 1966 when I saw the Beatles play in Boston. And speaking of writing letters, I used to wait EVERY day at the mailbox for my letter from George, because I was certain he'd write back. One day I was finally rewarded - with a lovely letter written by his mom!!! Thanks again, for the memories - your daughter has an AWESOME and VERY creative mom!!!

I wanna be your daughter!!! What a cute them for a party. I grew up with the Beatles and have actually seen them.. this is just sooo cool. Happiest of year to you! xo Marlis
SUPER cute idea!!!! Wow...it's great that your daughter is so into the Beatles! They were THE group. I can remember crying like an absolute idiot when my Mom took us to see the movie "Help!" back in the 60s. I was so caught up in the frenzy!!! I have watched it many times since and enjoyed it more and more with each viewing. I was always so in love with Ringo! I know, I know...all the girls were in love with Paul, but I lusted (as only a squirrley 7-year-old could!) after Ringo! You did a GREAT job with the decor, and I love all the references to songs, etc. Happy New Year, and happy belated birthday to the Birthday Girl!
This is so clever and a lot of fun. You hit all the nails right on the head, didn't miss a beat(le)! What an original theme, I loved the Beatles back in the day. I still think Paul is cute! Happy Birthday to your little girl. xo
I got IT! My husband and I have the same albums and a few more of the Beatles.
Great post.

Are you possibly the best and most creative Mom ever??? Yes, I think so! This was a great idea and I'm sure you and your daughter enjoyed planning it together. I think adults would enjoy it too! The colors are great and the references to the songs are so creative!!! Happy birthday to your little girl! Linda
How cute!!! You really came up with some creative ideas! I love the mod setting, very sixties!! I remember twirling my baton to Its a Hard Days Night!! I am sure this party was a big hit!!
This is one party I wish I could have attended! All this was from "my era" and reading this made me smile from ear to ear!
I am sure everyone had a grand time, and your kids are so lucky, all the creativity and fun you put into their birthday parties.
Oh my gosh, I could actually do this party for Sweet Mister. He'd love it. We allusions to the song titles are superb, and I adore the yellow submarines! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Happy New Year! Cherry Kay

Mom of the year again!!! What fun!!! Love the twinkies, so creative!!!
What a "Revolution!" Love this idea..very creative. I know you worked a "Hard Day's Night" getting all of this together.
Too adorable! You can really carry out a theme to perfection! Those yellow submarines are priceless! I know your daughter felt very loved!
Very cute! Love all the details! I am sure they had a blast! Not too man do parties at home anymore and go to such trouble to tie it all together!
I had that same album on your mantel. It went into the dumpster when we moved!
What a Groovy time and she got by with a little (really lots) help from her friends (MOM). Terrific Birthday Party and so creative! I still have a favorite... Paul. Yesterday is a favorite, the song and the memories. I love everything and know she loved you for the great time for a special Birthday celebration!

How wonderful! I was and still am a Beatles fan. They hit the USA when I was 12! It took me years to recover from the realization that I would not marry a Beatle. Sad. But your party, now that is fun!
oh my gosh, i LOVE the nuances, and so many of them reminded me of what i used to be so obsessed with. honey pie, oh i love that song! my friend is a mummer (is that only a philadelphia thing?!) and her group did a beatles theme, so it was all costumed 60s style, and the string band played all beatles songs. super fun.
How fun! Everything looks just perfect for a Beetles party. I bet the girls had a blast!
Oh how fun! Love that the Beatles just live on and on....they'll never get old. Our kids and grandkids love them too. How fun for your daughter and her guests.
Oh I want a ticket to ride! My entire family are HUGE Beatles fans.
What a great tablescape. Love the twinkies.
Happy New Year dear one!
ADORABLE. Here comes to sun chips! Adorable !! So creative!
This table is charming! And, no, they do not know how to write a letter properly. They cannot spell, they can't even write cursive . . . they print. Boy, am I sounding old!
Excellent execution of a theme. I love best the tablescapes that are actually used.
You throw the most creative and FUN parties for your daughters~ the party and theme makes me smile! Still remembering the spa party :) LOVE the yellow submarine twinkies!!
What an awesome party...and mom! I love this!
Karen
