Wishing you and yours…
…a happy new year!

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays!
I love this time of year.
Everyone looks back on the year,…
…and all of the posts they’ve created.
It’s so fun to highlight…
…your favorite posts from the past year (you can click on any of the photos and they’ll take you to the complete post).
It’s neat to revisit my favorites…
…from throughout the year, but…
…sometimes it’s hard to choose.
Blog land affords us the ability to celebrate the same event..
…in different ways.
The celebration of my big 5-0!
A manly birthday for my son, steak with all the trimmings.
The clustering of some of my tea cup collection.
The temperature starts to warm and we’re under the sea,…
…and enjoying the green of Spring.
Before you know it, it’s time to relish in the beauty of Summer!
Celebrate all of those patriotic holidays!
Have a tropical delight.
Or perhaps a Nantucket visit.
Staying cool…
…by the pool.
But always make time for friends,…
…as Fall lingers in.
A magical Halloween…
and Fall…
…in all it’s splendor…
…reminds us to pause and give thanks.
And finally, the most blessed season of all…
…the celebration of the birth of the baby Jesus.
I truly hope that you and your family have had a wondrous year. It’s had its ups and down. Sandy dealt quite the blow to our area and people are still working their way out, but through it all we must have faith.
Happy New Year! Who know what’s in store for us now!!!
Note: Trying something new with the linking. Let me know your thoughts.

Welcome to The Tablescaper.
It’s a season of celebrating.
We celebrate Christmas Eve,…
Christmas Day,…
…New Year’s Eve, and…
…New Year’s Day.
Our celebration started with cheese and crackers, crudité and shrimp cocktail.
Followed by a first course of sushi. The snowflake plates were for the soy sauce (from Michaels).
The clear glass plates with the snow flakes (from Ikea) held the sushi.
The dinner plates were my Mother-in-law’s. So great to have them be a part of our celebration. They held twice baked potatoes, asparagus, filet mignon and lobster. The lacy chargers reminded me of snowflakes (Ikea).
The little bowls (Ikea) held the warm melted butter to dip the lobster in.
Some had the design on the outside and some on the inside.
A snowflake held each person’s place
Along with a bit of sparkle at their chair.
As well as a snowflake to hold your napkin (napkins and napkin rings from C Wonder).
And of course a cracker to complete the celebration.
We celebrate many different things…
…at this time of the year.
and each have a bit of sparkle!
Hope that you’re enjoying…
…every bit of the season.
Can’t wait to hear about your celebrations!
