Welcome to Seasonal Sundays
I hope that you and yours had a blessed Thanksgiving. My brother and sister-in-law hosted and we had a wonderful evening. But now…
…at our home, it’s beginning to look…
…a lot like Christmas!
I love these three little angels (a Christmas Tree Shop purchase quite a number of years ago). They make me think of my three little angels – well, one of my angels is in the midst of applying for college and I don’t think that makes anyone angel like, if you get my drift. Let alone, little! LOL! He’s six foot! But, he’ll always be my little angel.
Somehow I always dread putting up the garland (it goes all the way up to the third floor so it a big job) but it has such a major impact on the entire house. My daughter helped me get it up yesterday afternoon. Yeah!
For years I’ve been talking about getting a new artificial tree and this year I finally did it. I ordered it on line and it’s been sitting in it’s boxes in the garage (through Sandy) for the last couple of weeks. I was so anxious to see it up!
I’m very pleased with my purchase. I really think it looks amazingly real. So, it’s not decorated yet, but it’s up!
Just beginning with the details. All of those little touches that help bring the spirit of the season to your home.
Can’t wait to see what you’ve all been doing in the beginning stages of getting ready!

Your new tree is beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing it decorated. Ours is up but not decorated. Moving slow and slower.
I love the garland on your stairway. I used to do that also. Last year I did the newel post and that was it.:-)
Your little angels are beautiful, as is your tree. I hope you will allow one last Thanksgiving post; haven't started with the Christmas decor yet!
Thank you, as always, for hosting!
Nancy
Your tree really is amazing! It looks so real. I'm super envious of your gorgeous banister and staircase, it's so so pretty. Thank you for hosting!

Your tree looks so life-like~ I'm anxious to see it decorated! Enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving weekend and happy decorating! Thanks for hosting :)
That is a beautiful tree and it really looks like the real thing! Your bannister looks wonderful and I bet it is fabulous going all the way up to the top! Cute angels too. Thanks for hosting and have a lovely weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Well, you've gotten a good head start on your holiday decorating! Every year I say I'm going to start earlier the next year..... alas, I am behind again this year! LOL
It takes forever to put up all of my trees, so when I'm finally done, I don't get to enjoy them for very long. I think there will be fewer trees this season! Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful home. :-)
You are so on the ball! You have done so much already. I love your new tree! Your staircase garland is grand. Look forward to seeing everything on the next few weeks.
Our tree goes up tomorrow--can't wait!
Thank you for hosting. Have a great week.
Your artificial tree looks so real! I have had bad luck with artificial trees, I even managed to "kill" one it looked so bad after a couple years! You have a great start on your decor, I hope to be in full swing next week! I do love your 3 "angels" going up the stairs...

I love garland on a staircase bannister. Of course, my bannister is so short, yet it gives me fits sometimes!! Just not able to do what I used to with numb fingers. I love those angels. xo
You have a good start. All I've done is my mantel, and I made a huge mess doing that. Your garland and angels look so pretty on the stairway. Wow! I bet that is a job to do 3 flights. Nice that your daughter helped. The new tree looks very real. I'd love to know where you ordered it. Thank you for hosting. laurie
Lovely start to your Christmas decorating. Thank you for hosting.

Looks like you have a good start on your Christmas decorating! Those little elves are a big help!
Here at the Island of Misfit toys, I am on my own, except for an occasional, why aren't there more lights on that tree? LOL
Enjoy your Sunday, and thanks for hosting!
Wow, I thought that was a real tree...can't wait to see how you decorate it. I am so slow getting into the Christmas spirit this year.
Thanks for hosting each week.
Love the garland on your beautiful and classic bannister. Everything looks so festive, charming and oh so welcoming! Thank you so much for hosting once again.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
It IS beginning to look like Christmas at your house. Thanks for the peek at what you've been up to. I look forward to seeing more. Happy Sunday to you.
Your new tree looks great! I'm staying with the fresh tree but it is so tempting to go with you, no watering or stray needles! Thanks for hosting again this week, Laura
Still savoring the autumn season here and late getting my post up. Will be back tomorrow to visit others.
Your tree is gorgeous. Can't wait to see how you decorate it. Enjoy the process! Thanks for hosting each week.........Sarah
What a pretty tree. Like the others, I can't wait to see it decorated.

I love the garland on the stairs and your sweet golden angels. Your new tree is gorgeous just as it is actually! Thanks for hosting. Pam
The angels are lovely, and the tree is amazing - so lifelike! I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting an artificial tree, we have a real one but they are getting more and more expensive :o(

Your entry way and staircase is gorgeous! I agree the garland is a show stopper...I've been debating whether to put mine up! It is a job but looks beautiful! Love your new Christmas tree...gorgeous shape ...will be a stunner all decorated. My tree is up and I'm working on a tablescape for Sunday dinner today. Thanks for hosting!

I chuckled at your comment about the angels. My mom always said my sister was a house devil and a street angel ;o) Your tree is beautiful and looks so real! Thanks for hosting.
I have been busy decking the halls at my house. Love your new tree! It does look amazingly real. I bought a new prelit one last year. I have yet to tackle my stairs. Changing things up a bit. Hopefully it will turn out like I am imagining. lol! Thanks for hosting.
Hugs,
Jann
Your foyer is beautiful!! I love the darling angels, your pretty tree, and the lovely vases filled with fresh greenery.

Love your new artificial tree! I just saw some of these a few days ago and admired them. Think they are neat.
You'll have fun decking this new tree out.
I'm just about finished with our parlor tree. I'll do a little decorating each day....Lord willing....but think I'm catching cold. yuck.
May you have a beautiful Christmas Season.

I am so loving those plaid dishes...... working on my husband trying to wear him down for a go ahead and order some I saw at Pottery Barn!
Beautiful decor! Love your tree! I've got the mantel done and lights on the tree. I'll start decorating it tonight. So much to do, so little time! LOL! Thanks for hosting!
Oh your new tree is amazing!!! Ours is all decorated now and I'm just finishing some vignettes. We would like to buy a new tree after Christmas with those deep discounts for the sunroom. Have a great time getting it all glammed up.,
