Welcome to The Tablescaper.

It’s a funny time of year.

Labor Day is past,…

sunflowers 009

…and the children are back in school,…

sunflowers 005

…so it doesn’t feel like summer.

sunflowers 045

But,…

sunflowers 048

…it’s so darn humid out there, how could it be anything but summer?

2 001

Such crazy days.

sunflowers 015

One moment a torrential down pour…

…and then the next a bit of sunshine peaking it’s head through.

sunflowers 011

I know…

sunflowers 013

…before long, summer will have truly passed.

And the leaves will start to FALL!

We've been back in the 100's for a few days, but as of tomorrow, we're supposed to drop into the 80's...Yippeee! I always love sunflowers...kind of an 'everyman's' flower. Whatever the weather, the light through the window turned out just right! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

Sunflowers are so pretty, especially at this "in between" time. I love that the plates have that soft blue background. The yellow & white gingham tablecloth is sweet.

This is the perfect transition table. The plates look great with the $ tree dinner plates. Love the stems and the tablecloth from CTS. I haven't used any of mine yet!
I must have missed those sunflower napkin rings, so cute!
Thanks for linking to Let's Dish!

I know what you mean! It reached the upper 90s here again today, so it surely doesn't feel anything like Fall!!! But the NFL is back in business full swing, so I can almost hear those autumn leaves crunching! :-) Your table is really, really pretty! I love the dishes, and the stemware is perfect for them!

This is a perfect table. Simple, crisp, and lovely. Sometimes it's good to know when to stop when setting a table. This one called for exactly the touch you showed.

Your tablescape is perfect for your kind of hot weather fall. The sunflower dishes are so cheery and fresh, along with the real sunflowers as centerpiece...so it's a little transition to fall scape. Thank you for your visit lovely lady, I wll definetelly join you on SS. Enjoy your weather this weekend.

Just lovely! A perfect tablescape to bridge the seasons. It has been hot and humid up until lately - yesterday and today I'd categorize as perfect - low humidity and low 80's! Love the plates, cups and especially the flowers - I'll have to make a visit to the Christmas Tree store - it has been a while! I appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
