Welcome to Seasonal Sundays. I imagine that you, like me, probably have a ton of Fall décor, but I’m always looking for a way to spruce up what I have and give it a new look. I don’t want to go out and buy a ton of new things, just a couple of touches here and there. Well, this season’s fav theme has to be OWLS. I’ve seen them everywhere and decided they were clearly the addition I needed to kick my Fall decorations up a notch.
I found this little guy at Target this summer in the $2.50 section. What ever happened to the Dollar section?
I filled him with some fresh potpourri and placed him in my entryway.
I’m so happy that Trader Joe’s opened near my home. They have great prices on plants. This orchid, for $12.99, helped bring my entryway to Fall. If you’re looking for more ideas, HERE is last year’s entryway arrangement. This year’s is a bit more casual.
Did you see the touch of my helper, Baci, in the prior photo? She’s one of our two Bedlington Terriers.
This guy flew in from The Christmas Tree Shop (could not resist at $9.99). He’s welcoming you before you even get in the door. Right now he’s flying solo, but as it begins to feel a bit more like autumn, pumpkins and gourds will surround him.
This fellow is a lot bigger than he looks – a healthy 10 inches. I’m not exactly sure where he’s going to nest, but I’m sure it will be with some mercury glass pumpkins.
Love this little pitcher also found at The Christmas Tree Shop. I’m in the midst of conjuring up what tablescape he will land on.
How cute are these little friends found at Pier One? They were $5. for the pair and then on sale for I think $4. And they will no doubt find themselves in a tablescape as well.
But perhaps my favorite is this vintage owl, unearthed from my Mom’s decos of the 60s. Yes, owls were big back then too! Loving him in my dining room! You can see more of the dining room HERE.
Looking forward to seeing how you’re readying your home for the Fall. Have you made any new purchases. I hadn’t realized just how many owls I had purchased until I started putting this post together. Hmmm…hope I didn’t over do it. They are all so different. I think once they are scattered about my home, they will nest in perfectly.

Happy fall! I did link up a second post after I saw your darling owls, because I found a new one this week too! He came from GW, for just $! :)) But now after seeing yours I might need a new collection! Thank you for hosting, I'm so glad to be blogging and joining in again :)

I've noticed owls popping up here and there, too! They are so darling and perfect for fall! I love the one you have by your door from the CTS...we don't have one of those here and I'm envious!!
Happy Saturday!

You also have an owl collection now! My post is about mine.
Love your owl collection and your helper is adorable.
Have a great Sunday and thanks ever so much for hosting.

Thanks for hosting!
I've noticed a resurgence of owls in recent years. They seem to be the darling of decor year round. I definitely remember the owl craze in the 60s and 70s because I was a Chi Omega. ;-) Fun to see the different ones you've added. Thanks for sharing and for hosting.
I added a new owl to my fall decor this past week. Found him in Dallas and couldn't resist. Will share him soon. And last Christmas my husband installed an owl house in our little woodland, but it's yet to attract a family. Still waiting for them to find it.......Sarah
I'm enjoying the owl revival! It's fun to see your Mom's deco owl and your new ones. I only bought one, but I want to make an owl pillow. We have a new Trader Joe's that opened, too, but I'm waiting for the crowds to die down.
Hi I don't have time to do a post but I wanted to let you know that there are some really cute Owls in Rite Aid now for 1/2 price, hope you have a chance to pick some up. Small ones come to $2 and large $4.
I have not done any decorating or shopping for fall yet. I do plan to start this week though. I wonder if I can get the owl who sits up in one of our trees and hoots very early each morning to pose for me? Love your decorations! I'll be on the hunt now too. Thanks for hosting.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
You have a very nice collection of owls. I do remember seeing them in numbers back in the 60's...nope I didn't have any...still don't.
No new items for fall, yet!
Thanks for hosting.
I forgot to add that I love your doggies...are they as soft as they look?
Your header is gorgeous!
I never liked owls before but this season I like them a lot! They are all so cute and different. I also learned recently that a group of owls is called a parliament. I will be late in linking up but will be joining tomorrow. Happy Sunday! xo
Your owl decorations are all very pretty! I remember whenI was very young my Mother would sing a song to me about the 'wise old owls in the tree" and draw a picture of one as she sang..a very sweet memory!
Have a wonderful week!

I remember the owls from the 70's....I used to do macrame:):) I love all your owls too. Thanks so much for hosting. XO, Pinky
I'm fascinated by owls. We can hear them in the woods near our house some nights; it just seems like a natural part of fall, somehow. I love your collection! I saw some cute owls today; I may have to go back and get one. :)
Thank you for hosting and Happy Seasonal Sunday!

Very cute owls! These are perfect for Halloween decorating.
I've had such a hard time leaving a comment for you--the link just wouldn't work, so I'm happy to be here now! We have so many owls here, as Will was completely hooked on them when he was a toddler and even until recently! Yours are so cute. I see them everywhere this season, so I'll have to pull ours out of Will's room. Linda
Love all your owls! I have been seeing them all over too! I love the one you got at the Christmas store. That is really cute!
Thanks for hosting Seasonal Sundays!
Oh Yeah! I jumped on the owl band wagon too. I love your CTS one and the S&P shakers. The CTS one looks similar to mine being open. Love the copper look. We have small owl candles at work for sale that are just adorable. I am hoping they will go on sale soon. Owls are definitely in this year. They are everywhere!
I remember owls being big in the 60's too, what is old is new again! Thanks for hosting again this week, Laura

Owls have been hot for a while & I have Pier 1 pepper/salt shakers. Word of warning - a lot comes out of them, so I use them as decorations only. Love your blog!
I am loving the owls this year also. So far I've resisted buying any but I think the time has come to just bite the bullet and add a few to my fall decor also! Thanks for hosting such a fun party each week! Hugs, Linda
I'm back, just linked up. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, this weather is glorious, isn't it? xo
I love your owls but your doggie is the cutest thing!!

I think the owls have pushed the acorns out! I don't remember the 60's owls, I guess my mom didn't have them. Love that you saved your mom's, it is lovely!
I bought that little owl pitcher this summer, but where did I put it? :(
I like the idea of decorating with the owls. Thanks for the idea and the nice post!
All your owls are great but my favorite is the one that belonged to your mom. I only have two and the some napkin rings. I trying very hard not to add many things but a few have made it home with me. Thanks for hosting.
Hooooo knew that owls could be so cute! Great collection. Thanks for hosting us again. Cherry Kay
