Gorgeous! I love the terrace images.

I did some decorating today. We are going back to the lake next week, so I wanted to have some things finished here before we leave.

Thanks so much for hosting and this wonderful inspiration!

We've had our first hint of fall weather today. It's been so pleasant. I'm sure it won't last, but it's a start. ;-)
Thanks for the fall inspiration. I'm going to start adding some fall touches here in the next week or so.
And thanks for hosting each week..........Sarah

Hi Alma,

Your photos are lovely, as always. Your home looks so warm and inviting dressed for fall. I like your foyer vignette, and I love the flatware with brown, twisted handles. It has definitely been warm enough here to dine outside -- too warm, in fact. It's been like a steam bath here for two weeks or more. We are ready for fall! :)

Thank you for hosting and Happy Seasonal Sunday.

Hope these storms have not effected you DOWN THERE on the Island!
My VeryVeryVery Favorite of all your pictures is the one you mixed in the cobalt blue. LOVE IT!!! Although each and every picture was PERFECT!
My mantle will have to wait AS I AM deep cleaning my basement and "OH WHAT A MESS"!
Have a FUN Sunday!
Hugs,
Donna

Love all of your seasonal touches. You certainly know how to spruce.

Thank you for hosting. I've linked Boozy cherries - an easy version of Cherries Jubilee. Cherries Jubilee was my husband's favorite dessert to order at his birthday celebrations when he was a boy summering up in your neck of the woods on Shelter Island.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. We're supposed to get a touch of fall tomorrow here in the mountains.

Thank you so much for hosting this party. I am a new blogger and had not done any tablescapes until about a month ago. I am excited about joining your party and trying my hand at some tablescapes. Hugs, Penny

It was so warm and humid today here in Southampton, it was uncomfortable outside! Still can't think Fall until it cools down.
I am looking at magazines, but until I can turn the air conditioning off, not one Fall decoration will come out.
I know you are all set to fall into Fall!
Loved seeing your reprise.

Oh, gracious!!! Everything is lovely, but that little table (and the lamp on it) in the entry is simply stunning! Stripping the mantel and going shopping in the house, basement, storage unit, tractor shed, and chicken coop to see what's available!

Loved the look at the fall archives, a lot of inspiration there! Really liked the mantel and the porch setting. We are still eating outside but those days are getting shorter, it dropped down in to the 40's the other night and our heat kicked on! Thanks for hosting, Laura

I am completely perplexed as to how to decorate this year as I'm in a new place, with an entirely different feel to it (largely because it is new, and my former house was 177 years old!), as well as color palette. I hope to get some great ideas here on your blog.
