The neat thing about American patriotic holidays, such as Independence Day which is right ahead of us…
…Memorial Day (just behind us) and…
… Labor Day (thankfully, a bit ahead of us)…
…is that they all theme on RED,WHITE and BLUE.
I guess if you really wanted to, you could include President’s Day and Veteran’s Day too.
What’s neat is that you can clearly use star shaped or star decorated items for each of these holidays, but…
…anything red, white or blue (above are several linens that previously were part of my son’s bedroom)…
…easily take on the theme.
One or two special items, really bring it together.
Use your red, white or blue NON-THEMED items as the work horses.
And then add those special bits to bring it all together.

I love all of these, I don't think I can even pick a favorite! I haven't collected many items to make a good patriotic table and your post gives me some great ideas when I start looking!

I saw some gold star plates at GW today. Hopefully, they'll be there tomorrow and my collection will be started. Hugs and happy 4th.
