Seasonal Sundays # 108–Snuggle Up and READ

Seasonal Sunday Teapot copy

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays.

Snuggle up and READ 041

Now that the fourth of July celebrations are behind us, it’s time to sink into Summer.

Snuggle up and READ 006

One of my favorite Summer things to do is to find a comfy chair,…

Snuggle up and READ 034

…snuggle up and…

Snuggle up and READ 051

…READ!

Snuggle up and READ 010

There’s something about the Summer…

Snuggle up and READ 045

…which at least make us feel that there are more hours in the day.

Snuggle up and READ 018

So soak up those Summer days…

Copy of Snuggle up and READ 023

…and find a bit of time to enjoy those books you’ve been meaning to read.

I've got my stack of summer reads and I'm reading. The only problem is that I've now started 3 books and trying to finish them all at the same time!

Your easy chair looks so comfy and I love the muted light coming through the window. I could snuggle in that chair, start reading and go sound asleep.
Thanks for hosting, Ginger:)

I also love reading a good book in the summer while riding in the boat, camping out, laying in the sun, staying in the AC, etc. Thanks for this great post!

I love Seasonal Sundays! Every time I link up to your party I feel like I am visiting an old friend! Thanks for hosting. Summer reading is always light and fun for me. Currently reading Mary Kay Andrews new book ~ Spring Fever. Also love Elin Hilderbrand for a summer read, but I am currently up to date with all of her titles. I love to read any time of the year, but summer reading reminds me of my childhood and Nancy Drew.

Big Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

What a cozy spot to sit, sip a cold drink, and read! I haven't had a moment to spare lately to even read my magazines, but I really should hit the library and find me a good novel. Glad I could link up this week. Thanks for hosting. Keep cool- it's hotter than blazes here. ~ Sue

Unfortunately the only thing we in the UK have been 'soaking up' this summer....is...the rain!! We have had such an awful summer with major floods! However this afternoon I think the majority of us will be snuggling up to watch the finals of Wimbledon with our British lad p[laying!! Hope you have a good Sunday. Joan

Summer reading is definitely an indoor thing this summer. Love your reading corner, with the comfy chair and alabaster lamp. Thanks for hosting and have a great Sunday.

My day would not be complete without reading at least one chapter in a book. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep with the book in my hand, but at least I got some reading in!

Your post almost sounds like it should be a mid-winter Sunday, but with this unbearable heat, it drives us indoors just the same.
Thanks for hosting us and inviting us into your home.

Oh thank you so much for stopping over, for leaving your sweet comments, and for your kind invitation to join in the fun with your hop today! I've linked up the fresh peach ice cream. There's some super recipes here that I've just got to check out!

Thank you for inviting me and for hosting Seasonal Sundays. I linked up my shrimp salad stuffed tomatoes, which I love to make during the summer.

It is a dreary, rainy day today--perfect for snuggling up and reading.

Love joining in Seasonal Sunday! Thanks for hosting. Think this heat is interrupting my broadband signal, going to visit a few while I can. Thanks, Pam

I have to say I read more in the winter than summer.
There is so much garden work to do in summer.
I read less since blogging. A lot of time spent reading posts and commenting, sadly the books get neglected.
What have you read lately, anything great?

Hydrangeas are a favorite of mine. Yours are beautiful. My "to read" list is so long, I'm sure it will take all the way through winter! laurie
