I'm with you -- especially given the heat here in Texas! Your table is so visually appealing, with the swirling patterns and deep cobalt blues! That tablecloth really sets the stage for an elegant and festive table!

Oh, I so agree with you - paper and plastic are just not my style. Now I would know your table, inside or out, would look stunning. This is so pretty and festive. I'm captivated by the darling red and white cake saver. That is just precious! Everything looks wonderful. Have a wonderful 4th of July.
Be a sweetie,

BEAUTIFUL table! We eat outside almost every night and always use real stuff (unless we're having a crowd like Father's Day or something)! No paper napkins here, either! I adore all of your great finds! Happy 4th, and stay cool. Thanks for sharing!!

I never do paper or plastic. I only use paper to clean my counter tops and use cloth napkins all the time. Love this table. The blue glasses are especially pretty. Have a happy 4th, olive

We are so on the same page. I rarely feel that I can't set an al fresco table with my china and crystal. I always feel like using the "good stuff" al fresco elevates the experience to another level. I really like the strong quotient of blue cobalt glass agains the red and white damask pattern in your tablecloth....very cool! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

What a gorgeous table! I love those plates. Can't believe they are from Dollar Tree. Are they recent finds? If so, I've got to make a trip to DT. Could you let me know please? kathygail2000@yahoo.com

With the convenient low prices at places like the Dollar Tree and CTS, it's not such a catastrophe if something does get broken when dining outside. Makes the experience that much sweeter! No dining outside for us for a long time to come. We are STILL under a heat advisory (going on a week now), and the city of Lee's Summit where I live is now under a mandatory water usage restriction. That means you can get ticketed for watering your grass or potted plants or for washing your car. Weird how they'll let the car washes continue to make money, but we could get ticketed! I never wash my own car anyway, but it's the principal of the whole thing. And how is it that refilling swimming pools isn't counted in that??? OK...I'm off my soapbox now! Beautiful table with a really pretty tablecloth!!! This is the way to dine out!!! I hope your 4th was a good one!

I am in awe of your stunning red/blue table. We ended up sitting on the front porch and holding the food, so no tablescape for me.

Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you!
