Birthday Tea

Debbie's Tea05

Welcome to The Tablescaper.

Debbie's Tea18

My friend Debbie recently held a tea…

Debbie's Tea02

…in honor of her sister-in-law Maria’s birthday.

Debbie's Tea16

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday and…

Debbie's Tea17

…friendships.

Debbie's Tea01

Debbie pulled out a set of her grandmother’s china…

Debbie's Tea13Debbie's Tea14…she had never used before.

Debbie's Tea12

Along with some of her grandmother’s silver plate.

Debbie's Tea10

Debbie has…

Debbie's Tea21

…the most amazing collection of …

Debbie's Tea20

…vintage serving pieces.

Debbie's Tea06

Along with our tea, we sipped proseco with a raspberry floating about…

Debbie's Tea05

…and lemon water from her also inherited pink and green Depression glasses.

Debbie's Tea19

We dined on scones (in a pink Depression glass bowl) and…

Debbie's Tea03

…tea sandwiches.

Debbie's Tea09

Of course a bit of cream for those scones.

Debbie's Tea22

Debbie makes the best quiche.

Debbie's Tea08

Lots of goodies in this salad.

Debbie's Tea07

The ambrosia made me think of my grandmother.

Debbie's Tea15

Our party favors were Maria’s favorite candies!

Debbie's Tea04

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

What a sweet present to Maria.

Grandmother's china is so beautiful. Yeah! Hope one day, Tablescapers must visit Czech Republic. PRAGUE is our heaven and you ladies, will faint- so cheap, §:-) and it's one of a kind. I promise.

Deb, I know your collection and when you visit Prague, you will sent a containter back to the US.

BTW...
Unfortunately, I can't link to Susan's meme today...so I visit my fave ladies, one by one, instead.

Happy TS,
/CC

What stunning china! I hope Debbie will use it more often now that she sees what a pretty table it makes! I had to go look it up on Replacements -- Rosari is the pattern name. Love it!

Tablescaper,
Consider bringing back your button with the HTML for people like me who can only put html on the side bar because I have used my limit up on photos.

This table is lovely and like that china a lot.
