Welcome to The Tablescaper.
My friend Debbie recently held a tea…
…in honor of her sister-in-law Maria’s birthday.
What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday and…
…friendships.
Debbie pulled out a set of her grandmother’s china…
Along with some of her grandmother’s silver plate.
Debbie has…
…the most amazing collection of …
…vintage serving pieces.
Along with our tea, we sipped proseco with a raspberry floating about…
…and lemon water from her also inherited pink and green Depression glasses.
We dined on scones (in a pink Depression glass bowl) and…
…tea sandwiches.
Of course a bit of cream for those scones.
Debbie makes the best quiche.
Lots of goodies in this salad.
The ambrosia made me think of my grandmother.
Our party favors were Maria’s favorite candies!
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
I’m joining the following parties:
Let’s Dish at Kathleen’s along with Ivy and Elephants for What’s it Wednesday;Uncommonly Yours at Uncommon Designs;Open House Party at No Minimalist Here; Katherine of Katherine’s Corner for Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop; Kathy of A Delightsome Life for Home and Garden Thursday;Sheri at The Charm of Home for Home Sweet Home; Susan at Between the Naps for Tablescape Thursday;Courtney of French Country Cottage for Feather Your Nest Friday;Alison of Stuff and Nonsense for Fridays Unfold; Imparting Grace for Grace at Home; At the Picket Fence for Inspiration Friday; Cindy at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.
