Spring Green!

Spring Green! 020

Welcome to The Tablescaper.

Spring Green! 005

I so enjoy these lovely days of Spring.

Spring Green! 048

It’s warm enough for flowers burst forth…

Spring Green! 054

…yet still cool enough to enjoy.

Spring Green! 035

Green is the color of Spring!

Spring Green! 006

With bits of it popping up all over.

Spring Green! 010

The mornings are crisp like a green apple.

Spring Green! 049

Many days are filled with sunshine…

Spring Green! 020

…and the occasional shower.

Spring Green! 034

While most evenings still enable a bit of cuddle time.

Spring Green! 056

Ahh… the days of Spring are fleeting and the hot humid days of Summer are just around the corner.

Spring Green! 046

Enjoy them while you can!

Spring Green! 013

The gorgeous green tumblers are by Anthropologie and were a birthday gift from my good friend Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen. I adore them! The clear goblets are from Villeroy & Boch.  The flatware was purchased at the Williams Sonoma outlet. The place mat is from Ikea.

Spring Green! 042

Spring Green! 059 The napkin rings were a Christmas Tree Store bargain and the napkins from HomeGoods.

Spring Green! 060

Spring Green! 061 I had been eyeing these cake plates at HomeGoods, but really couldn’t rationalize more white plates, until they were in clearance! At $1.49, I couldn’t resist!

Spring Green! 062

The green dinner plates were from a recent trip to Lancaster and a Visit to Reading China and Glass.

Spring Green! 065

Spring Green! 067 And when I saw these gorgeous chargers at HomeGoods, and they had 12 of them (you know 12 is my magic number) it was all over.

Spring Green! 068

Hope you’re enjoying these last days of Spring!

I’m joining the following parties:

Everything is so fresh and pretty! I fell in love with your new white plates and chargers. And the white flowers, lilies? Beautiful!

How beautiful and springy this one is! I understand exactly what you mean about not being able to easily justify more white dishes, but I'm glad you got a deal on those because I like them.

I love the knot in that napkin ring. Even though the whole thing is lovely, I actually think that one thing is my favorite part of all.

Love all your dishes and how you layer them. You find so many nice things at Home Goods. I wish I lived near one to enjoy finding great finds like you. The green colors are so crisp and gives me a good feeling.

This is a beautifully serene setting. The soft greens and white are just lovely. I adore those chargers! They look so nice peaking out at the bottom of your plate stack.

Your glasses are wonderful and so are those chargers!!! I have not seen them. If there were 12 they were definitely meant for you. Usually I have to go to a few HGs to find 12 of anything. Have a wonderful evening. Linda

I'm typically not a fan of green, but I LOVE this green, and I love this table! I love the napkins and your bargain dishes from HG are beautiful!! You absolutely could not pass them up (that's in case you needed reassurance). :) I'm glad to read that you're still considering June 6 spring--I am too, and as I worked on my post I thought others many not think of June as spring (though technically on the calendar it is). I always feel blessed when we have these lovely spring days before summer instead of going right into the heat of summer. Lovely table, Alma! ~Zuni

Well dang, I was in Frisco, Texas just a week or so again....but I chose a trip to the CTS instead of HG. I would have had those chargers in a New York minute, too. They are wonderful. I am in like with the wonderful green in the placemats. I've never been to Ikea either. There's also one of those in Frisco. Another trip. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

This table looks so - fresh! Apple green is one of my favorite colors. I think it has something to do with an apple green and white gingham dress I had, when I was a little girl. All of your pieces are a lovely and unique. Great table - thanks for sharing!

Wow...you're still getting some Spring weather there? Must be nice! We jumped straight into Summer here! High near 90 today, in the 90s over the weekend expected. This is crazy!!! I would still love to have 72 degree days and 55 degree nights to savor! Your table is a beautiful reflection of the wonderful weather you're having! I don't blame you on the cake plates...when they're that reasonably priced, you just HAVE to go for it. It would be criminal not to!!! The chargers are really pretty, too! I love the unusual shape and design. Very slick! Green is such a soothing color, and you chose the perfect hues. Enjoy these days while you can! Have a happy weekend!!!

Isn't it amazing how many shades of green there are this time of year? Looking out my window right now with the sun shining on all the leaves is a wonder. Your table does green justice.

LOVE the soft shades of green! So clean and fresh when paired with white. You sure scored with those appy plates and chargers! And, the napkins and rings are gorgeous! Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous! Spring days have pretty much drifted away here with temps in the mid to high 90s. Just looking at this lovely table is cool and refreshing. Thank you!
Love the cake plates. I've been looking to add more of this pattern. I have four dinners and four of these salad/cake plates. Wish I could find 4 more, especially in the dinner size. ;-)
