Seasonal Sundays # 92–Kim’s Breakfast Nook

Seasonal Sunday Teapot copy

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays!  Spring makes me think PROJECTS. One of the projects on my list is painting. I haven’t gotten there yet, but my dear friend Kim has. Kim just (like this week) finished having her kitchen repainted. She was good enough to allow me to share it with my friends in blogland.

Kim's kitchen 008

Isn’t it amazing?!?! It looks right out of Country Living.

Kim's kitchen 015

Kim and I have been friends for close to twenty five years and through those years, we’ve gone on many a shopping trip.

Kim's kitchen 020

We’ve been to many an antique store…

Copy of Kim's kitchen 026

…antique show…

Copy of Kim's kitchen 023

…and tag sale, …

Kim's kitchen 049

…not to mention innumerable trips to HomeGoods, TOGETHER!

Kim's kitchen 011

Kim lined the back of her shelves with paper from ChicShelfPaper.com, which you may recall I featured HERE.

Kim's kitchen 039

Kim is so talented at showcasing her collections.

Kim's kitchen 036

When you’re friends with someone as long as we’ve been friends, …

Kim's kitchen 034

…it’s funny how your taste wears off on each other.

Kim's kitchen 029

There are definitely things that we both have in our collections.

Kim's kitchen 050

Yesterday I had stopped by to check out the new paint color.

Kim's kitchen 057

Today, Kim innocently sent me a text with a photo of how the shelves were coming along.

Kim's kitchen 059

I immediately asked if I could run over and take some photos.

Kim's kitchen 063

Before I got there, not only had she finished arranging the shelves, but she had thrown a tablescape together.

Kim's kitchen 080

Don’t you just love friendships where you can show up at a moment’s notice?

Kim's kitchen 090

I  get to take credit for these curtains. I was shopping at Christmas Tree (gee, do you think Kathleen was with me?) when I spied these. I immediately knew they would be perfect for Kim’s kitchen.

Copy of Kim's kitchen 127

There’s so much more to see in Kim’s adorable home that we’ll have to same some for another visit. I promise, we’ll be back!

You are so right. Kim has such a beautiful touch in putting things together. I LOVE her tea cup collection. I spied several that I also own. Mostly I am touched by your dear friendship. I had a sweet friend who I could drop in at a moments notice, but she lost her battle to cancer 7 years ago, and I sure do miss her. Have a blessed Sunday. And enjoy your friend.
