Welcome to the Tablescaper.
Tonight is the premier of Kathleen, of Cuisine Kathleen’s, new party – Let’s Dish!
What could be more fun than a new party in celebration of SPRING?
It’s no secret that Kathleen is very fond of polka dots.
So, in honor of her party’s opening night…
…my tablescape features POLKA DOTS!
There are polka dots on the egg cups, napkins, and even the glasses!
On our last family road trip I made a visit to Cracker Barrel. We don’t have any close by so it’s always a treat.
During my visit I purchased these polka dot egg holders…
…and egg salt and peppers.
The yellow is so bright and…
…the pink is really a raspberry (hence the name of today’s tablescape, Raspberry Sunshine), …
…that it presented a bit of a challenge.
But, challenges are good!
They make us think and try things we might not have before.
- egg cups, salt and peppers, “Happy Spring” utensil holders which I used as napkin rings are from Cracker Barrel
- felt placemats are from Dollar Tree last year
- flatware and yellow plates are from HomeGoods
- raspberry colored plates are from Villeroy and Boch
- floral glasses from thrift shop
- pink stems from Christmas Tree
Happy Spring!

When I was a little girl, I always came out dressed in pink and yellow...and my mama always sent me back to change clothes. Tonight, I feel validated! I love it. Cherry Kay

Raspberry Sunshine is the perfect name for your table tonight! Isn't Cracker Barrel a fun place to visit? We have a bit of a trip to get to one too, but there are three on the way to Maine so I get my fill! I did yellow tulips today on my table too! Linda

Love the tablescape!!
I love going to Cracker Barrel - it's been a long-running tradition to eat there whenever we are on a road trip. I'm fortunate that I now live about 10 miles from one, so I can visit it more regularly. I also love looking in the shop while I wait for a table -there's usually something cute that I want to buy!
This IS a very happy table. I can't believe that all your raspberry elements match... perfectly! This is a winner. It's cheery and fun! I would love to sit at this table!!!!!

Definitely a spring filled table setting, so bright and cheery. I love it.
So bright and cheerful! It reminds me of my favorite Easter dress as a child, which had a pink top, a swirly yellow skirt, and a big yellow bow at the neck! What a nice launch for Kathleen's new party! LOVE the polka dots!
