A Breakfast Tray
The holidays are over and life is starting to get back to normal.
Rather than a large elaborate tablescape, a simple breakfast tray seemed more in order.
On some mornings, there is nothing like a few links of sausage and…
… stack of golden pancakes (courtesy of Mr. Scaper).
A few moments in the microwave takes the chill off of the maple syrup.
A glass of OJ and…
…a cup of coffee seem the essentials to start any day.
As the trees come down…
and the boxes of decorations get stowed away,…
…be sure to take a few moments and enjoy your breakfast.

- Egg cup is vintage
- Napkin ring is from Bombay

- Butter pat that syrup pitcher rests upon is from Anthropologie

Oh goodness, this looks so delish and yummy, plus beautifully served! I started this year on a diet, so my breakfasts are nice, but not this good!

I made pancakes this morning for breakfast, but I didn't serve them up this beautifully! Hey...as tired as I was, he was lucky to get anything beyond a bowl of cold cereal! :-) The beautiful blue & white dishes make these pancakes look even more appetizing. Beautiful napkin ring...I wish they would bring Bombay Co. back to retail stores. I'm headed over to check out Seasonal Sunday. Take care!
I'd love to have that wonderful breakfast on your beautiful tray. Did you say you have a guest bedroom per chance. I'm there. And I'll stay for lunch and dinner too. LOVE LOVE LOVE all your tablescapes and I would be in hog and table heaven. Great food, gorgeous tables and home, incredible hospitality by an amazing hostess. When does your faboulous B and B open. You could put most anything on that tray and it would look delicious. However, the pancakes and sausage have me drooling.
Lovin' all these blues, Ms. A!! You DO have a wonderful collection of them, AND you have a very tolerant DH who doesn't mind you collecting dishes PLUS he cooks!!! How lucky can a girl get??!!
I remember this one! It was one of my favorites and got me to making little trays! I love the blue and white, and especially the lovely tray. So nice to revisit it, and it's STILL one of my favorites!

Yes,here in the USA the second season of Downton Abbey started on Sunday on PBS. I'm sure they will do reruns.
