Dinner on the Deck
This must be one of the latest tablescapes I’ve ever posted. My children had a big party yesterday and it morphed into an adult party at days end. Although I had previously set my table and taken my photos, after 12 and half hours of entertaining, I didn’t have it in me to put my post together. Thanks for the concerned inquiries I received in my absence.

Elegant Waterside
Welcome to The Tablescaper.
Today we’re dining waterside.
We’ve pulled out the china…
…the silver (vintage Community Plate)…
…and the crystal (Horchow)…
…so that we may enjoy the view at it’s finest.
Today’s table was inspired by these marvelous vintage seashell plates which I placed upon Grandmom Lillian’s Limoges 
.
Place card holders were a gift the other year from my good friend Meg.
The inspiration congealed after a recent trip to the Pottery Barn Outlet.
…and this beautiful salt…
… and this darling condiment holder were purchased.
Both layers of napkins and the napkin rings were Christmas Tree purchases.
Summer seems to be a time when we dine more casually, but sometimes…
…you’ve just got to kick it up a notch!
Pick up that glass and make a toast!
Life is too short…
…not to live to the fullest!
