Seasonal Sundays # 79 - The Last Sunday of Advent

Seasonal Sunday Teapot copy

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays. This Sunday marks the last Sunday of Advent …

Caterina's Winter Concert 154

…and so, we will light the last candle on our Advent wreath.

Caterina's Winter Concert 166

Advent  means "coming" or "arrival." The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ in his First Advent is the focus of the season.

Caterina's Winter Concert 161

Expectation,

anticipation,

preparation,

longing.

Caterina's Winter Concert 170

I hope that you are busy with your preparations in expectation and anticipation of this joyous season.

Caterina's Winter Concert 158

Looking forward to seeing all of your preparations.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful advent Sunday post. I wish I had gotten an advent wreath. They remind me of when we lived in Germany and bought them. I don't see fresh ones here. Wishing your a wonderful Christmas.

What pretty trees and Advent candles. I loved looking at last year's Christmas Eve table too. I just love setting Christmas tables and then leaving them up as part of the decor. This one is stunning and I love the lit candles on the reindeer. Have a wonderful last week before Christmas.
