Welcome to The Tablescaper.
I thought that since the weather was feeling warm, despite the calendar saying it was October, I’d try for one last table outside.
It was warm enough, however…
…I kept darting and dashing between the rain drops. Believe it or not, this is the third set of towels cum napkins that I used. They kept getting wet.
You see, it wasn’t a down pour, just a few drops and…
…it would stop. You’d think you were safe (check out the drops on the pillow)…
…and then it would start in again (you can see more drops on the steps beside the table).
Fall is such an amazing time of year. The weather can be all over the map, but we’re inclined to start gathering the harvest…
…and snuggling in.
Since we’re going to be cooped up indoors…
…for the rest of the year, I thought it would be a great time to…
…light up all of the candles and…
…take advantage of the mild weather.
Hope that you’re eeking out every bit of the mild weather before old man winter hits.
Hope to see you Sunday at

I love Autumn Outside. We have mild weather, so outside is still enjoyable. Your Fall table is delightful and inspiring. Love all the pumpkins, including the candles.

Autumn is my favorite time for having bbq's or outside parties during the day, unless it is a little too chilly. Love this tablescape, my fav colors in my fav season. See you Sunday! ;-) xo
Warm and cozy! I love being outside in the Fall, by a fire, with a cup of something warm to drink. This is so inviting...wish I were there! ;-)
Nancy
Your Autumn Outside post is gorgeous and I have to admire your patience and fortitude in getting it all photographed, despite the rain.

The lanterns are beautiful! And I love the iron beaded pumpkins!!!! Gee, I guess I love it all!!!!! XO, Pinky

Very pretty! I love those leaf plates. You have the big ones too don't you?
What a sport to dodge the raindrops!
Great that you could have another day outside with beutiful decorated table;)

I agree, enjoy the beautiful weather as long as you can! Your plates are so pretty and the orange pillows on the love seat are just fantastic! Hope the beautiful autumn weather keeps up.
It looks cozy and inviting - would never even have known about the rain drops!
I'd be outside with you too... even if there were raindrops! This is such a warm and cozy corner of your outside!
I love the sassy orange pillows!
Love this outdoor scape!

What a cozy spot to enjoy a hot toddy! Alas, we are all so going to miss our yards during winter!
Gorgeous autumn table! Love those warm colours. Very inviting setting. Thanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
At least you're getting some rain, however sparse! It is dry as the Sahara here. We've not had a drop in nearly a month!!! Keeping our fingers crossed for a little of the wet stuff next week. As for outdoor tables, I do them outdoors until there's an ice storm! ;-) I have done dinner parties on the deck in 40 degree weather with a heat blower going and soft blankets at each person's place setting. There's a coziness about it with the smell of fireplaces going, the sound of neighbors crunching around on leaves in their yards, the rich fall colors in the trees...I love it! As long as no one complains, I'll keep doing it! Despite the raindrops, this is a very pretty setting, rich with so many wonderful fall elements! Beautiful!
So true about the weather! I love the mild tones of color on this table. So mellow and inviting. I'm crazy about those leaf plates too!
Hi lovely lady.

Oh, what we will do for our art! What are a few raindrops when one has decorating to do?
Happy fall!

Fall is my favorite season and the opportunity to dine alfresco is one of the reasons. Your setting looks comfy and inviting despite the sprinkles. Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah
What a cozy dining nook! I love how the orange pops against the wicker. Congrats on getting your photos despite the weather!
This looks wonderful! Sometimes it is more enjoyable in the fall to be outside than the summer.
Eileen
Let's enjoy the beautiful weather as long as we can! I love how you have fluffed by using the orange pillows on the love seat. Hoping the beautiful autumn weather stays around a while longer.
Beautiful outdoor decor! So pretty in spite of the rain. Finally cleared and it's getting that chill in the air. Except I still have the summer flowers, the impatiens are hanging on and I am so ready for mums!
This morning we woke to our first temp in the 30's so outside dining may be done until next year. I'm glad you managed a last table. It looks perfect for outdoors.
Girl you rock..I'm so glad you stuck it out to be able to share your warm and welcoming space with us. I love the use of your lanterns. I hope your fallish weather is continuing for you. hugs ~lynne~
Those orange pillows really pull it all together. Love the orange votives and the leaf plates as well. Summer
Despite the raindrops, you've set a wonderful tablescape. We've been entertaining outside ever since the backyard got finished. It is so nice to be enjoying favorable weather. Seeing your pillows made me think that I need to run off to the store to find some autumn inspired ones. Love those lanterns, A.

Your warm and welcoming setting is just perfect for enjoying the last of our warm weather outdoors!
I could spend a whole evening cozied up on your settee...I wouldn't even mind a few rain drops. We're still praying for rain here...hopefully some is coming this weekend. This is OU/Texas weekend...it will be quiet around here for a few days....everyone and their dog is gone. Do you remember that from your time here? Thank you for sharing your delightful design. Cherry Kay
Hopefully you have sunshine headed your way. Today was beautiful here in VA, but I feel that we deserve it after so much rain! Your outside decorations are so pretty, and the table is warm and inviting! Your leaf plates are great.
wow ! the setting is perfect... !!! Love the pumpkin shaped tea light holders...and the wicker outdoor seating arrangement..the orange cushions... Perfect ..warm and inviting... ;-) ;-)...

Your patio looks great and inspiring me to do something besides a centerpiece on the table. Love your leaf plates and lanterns. Everything looks great in spite of the rain drops.Don't you hate that it's trying to rain when you're phototgraphing an outdoor scape?
Happy Fall.
