Royal Wedding Breakfast Part III - Seasonal Sundays # 48

Seasonal Sunday Teapot resized

Welcome to Seasonal Sundays # 48.

Copy of Royal Wedding 047

I’ve done several posts on the Royal Wedding Breakfasts that my

daughters and I hosted. You can see Part I HERE; and the teapots and

tiaras we used HERE; and Part II HERE.

Royal Wedding 051

I have found that when entertaining a large crowd, we had over 25 for

breakfast, …

Royal Wedding 041

…that it’s best to spread things out a bit.

While the food, coffee, and tea were in the dining room….

Royal Wedding 317

….the remainder of the beverages were in the living room.

I like to make things as self service friendly as possible.

Royal Wedding 179

Perhaps you like your cranberry juice plain or…

Royal Wedding 186

…perhaps you like a little something added to it.

Royal Wedding 191

Maybe you’d like a Mimosa or…

Copy of Royal Wedding 039

…a little punch.

Somehow a post about entertaining…

Royal Wedding 044

…seems so appropriate on Mother’s Day.

Royal Wedding 170

I wish each and everyone of you…

Royal Wedding 176

…a very happy Mother’s Day.

I think part 111 of your RW post is perfect for Mother's Day. I know this was a special time to entertain and have some fun with your daughters. I like how you place your different buffet stations throughout the house, it makes it easier for guest to move around. Your beverage station looks lovely, all lovely crystal and punch bowl so pretty. I especially like how you use your place card holders to let everyone know what your serving. I think the RW series was great! Thanks for hosting, and I'm sure your day will be special.

I have so enjoyed your Royal Wedding Breakfast series.

What a beautiful presentation. I just love the silver pitcher that you have water in! And of course all the silver makes a royal presentation and the tiara is the icing on the cake!

VERY smart idea to keep all the goodies and libattions in different areas. I usually put the drinks in the foyer when having a big crowd!

I just keep thinking while visiting you "what memories, what memories". Your daughter's will always remember this special time.

A, I did get your e-mail. I'll reply tomorrow. Bob needs surgery and we will find out exactly when tomorrow, what a surprise! It has been a very interesting few weeks!!!!! I'll fill you in.

Thanks for hosting SS.

Happy Mother's Day to you, my friend!!!

I am just amazed at the all the wonderfully elegant touches you used to add to the excitement of THE Wedding!

Such gorgeous glasses & silver pieces...I'm pea green with envy!
LOVE the look of the orange juice in the dispenser.

When you have time, could you post the punch recipe you used? I only have a few & last Christmas' was a bit too sweet. Very few drank any of it after the first taste. :-(

Have a WONDERFUL Mothers Day, Honey!! Your family is truly blessed by all the love your put into everything you do for them.

Happy Mother's Day to you! This is a beautiful post; I've enjoyed following your Royal Wedding Breakfasts. I will own up to the fact that I watched the entire wedding on television, but I definitely didn't get up at 4:00 a.m. Your silver and crystal items are just lovely, and the food and beverages look wonderful! It's so special that you could do something this impressive with your daughters. I'm your newest follower, and this is my first time to link to SEASONAL SUNDAYS. Please visit my blog if you have a chance; I'm still a newbie in the world of blogging.:)

I thoroughly enjoyed your royal wedding posts. You really went all out, the punch bowl is lovely, and I adore the tiaras on the orange juice dispenser--it is also gorgeous. I agree that it's a good idea to spread things around, the tables looked so pretty with the lace and swags. Wish I could have been there!!

I have found that to be so true! Once I made the mistake of having quite a bit of food in the kitchen and I swear, there were 30 people crammed into the little kitchen I had at the time, while the huge room next door was empty. They were all having a wonderful time laughing and eating and no one seemed to notice, but I learned that lesson. :) Again, everything looks so lovely! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

"You might like your cranberry juice plain..." LOL! I really find that self-service is wonderful no matter what. It is always difficult to serve at the table with so many children in our bunch, even with only 6-8. I try to use my long counter or a random credenza as a buffet. Sometimes, I will just leave the a few baskets of extra bread and things like salt and pepper. Happy Mother's Day! Loved your reprise, too!
