Welcome to my shabby chic winter table!
Winter is still with us in abundance, and so…
…I decided to…
…embrace it’s whiteness!
The elegance of this white orchid…
…in contrast to the unpolished silver.
The fine linen napkin juxtaposed against the burlap like napkin.
Clear glass against…
… layers of textures of white.
The icy cold winter…
…and the warmth of your home.
The contemporary edge of the plate and the vintage silver slotted
spoon.
The crisp white of the individual casseroles…
…and the coarse willow of the beverage carrier.
The clean lines of the mercury glass candlestick holders…
…and intricacies of the antique servers.
My scrunchy throw once again appears as a table cloth.

Oh how I love this table! Every element is gorgeous!
This is one of the most beautiful and elegant tables I've ever seen.
Lovely! Those dishes are wonderful. The tablecloth gives it so much texture, and those mercury candlesticks go so well with it all.
First, I like your new header, and I miss the Williams-Sonoma Orleans Toile. Second, the scrunchy throw is a complete winner! It sets the tone for your whole table beautifully. I'm always a fan of tables of contrast...this one is skillfully composed...needs a table of contents (That doesn't really mean anything...I just like the way it worked with "table of contrasts.) Thank you for sharing yet another gorgeous design. Cherry Kay
Oh so beautiful as usual! Love the layering of your white plates, the tablescloth is a real beauty and the silver pieces are stunning...Christine
What a beautiful and exciting table! I love all the contrasts and textures with the white!
I love the contrasts. The snow out the window is a perfect backdrop. I love your table.. texture, shine and the perfect color!
We still have SO MUCH snow that I'm happy to see someone else "embracing" winter (it just seems way too early to think about spring with all the melting that's got to happen first!) Your tablescape is lovely and that tablecloth makes the perfect backdrop for the winter/snow theme!

I agree with everyone...this is one of the prettiest tables ever. I love the contrasting patterns and mix of texture. It's all exquisite.
Do you mind me asking where you got your burlap napkins? Too cute!
Nancy
I'm still in love with the "scrunchy" tablecloth!!! It just lends such great texture and drama to the table! It's great!!! Everything is so pretty, and I love those individual casseroles! I think it's always such a nice treat for guests to have those at their place setting. Makes them feel extra special! Glad to see you continuing to embrace the frigid weather. We've had some really nice weather here the last week or so, but it's all coming to an end in a few hours. We'll be digging out...again! :-( I'll have to channel your spirit to wrap my head around more snow! Have a great week!
My dear friend,I have missed you! YOur table is so beautiful! Creamy and dreamy and full of texture.
I just love that tablecloth... especially with the white theme.
White can be very tricky, but this is white done right. Wonderful.

Ooouu! I love the depth this tablescape has with the tablecloth you used. It really makes all the other textures on the dishes just come alive! Beautiful!
Gorgeous! Such lovely combinations of silver and dishes. Your individual casseroles are adorable.
Your close-ups are perfect and show the different patterns and designs...I've come to expect inspiration and charm with your tablescapes, and am never disappointed!
Love the elegance and simplicity of an all white table.Beautiful!
Wonderful contrasts on this table -- and all the wonderful texture adds so much interest to a neutral table. I also enjoyed seeing your snow through the windows!
Hi there!! This week's tablescape is a lesson in textures--starting with that wonderful throw you are using. I always learn something from you, and today is no exception. The winter white is great, and those individual casseroles are darling. All of the candleholders work so well together, and I love love the vintage and burlap napkins! Thanks for your visit and kind comments!
What a gorgeous table setting! I love the tablecloth.
I hope you will stop by and visit the linky party I am hosting. There are prizes!
Tablescaper,
I adore the ethereal undertones of this (Shabby) Chic tablescape! So elegant. The contrast were understated and serene, yet absolutely stunning. Thank you for this embrace to winter table setting!
Fondly,
Pat
As always your table is gorgeous and so full of inspiration.

Every detail is wonderful. Of course you know I'm enjoying a peek at your MOP and silver pieces. Love all the texture you've used on this table. Layers of white are always inspiration for me. Beautiful table! ~ Sarah
Oh, I always love a white table. I am hopelessly drawn to white dinnerware and must stop buying it. I love that you used that throw for a cloth. It is perfect. The bits of silver and mercury glass are just so wonderful with the white. It will now be impossible to resist those napkin holders a minute longer. I will just tell my husband that you are a bad influence. :)
You have managed to capture the warmth of winter. The different textiles and whites are absolutely dreamy and just blends well with the seating and decor of the room (and yes, with the snow covered ground outside.)So elegant! Love the servers and yes, that throw! Thank you for sharing your shabby chic winter theme tablescape and your visits and sweet comments! Andrea
