On this cold frosty evening it’s time to gather around your table.
Coming off the holidays…
…I was looking forward to doing some tablescapes that weren’t theme oriented.
But truth be told, I was having a bit of trouble…
…finding that spark.
Low and behold I found this runner by Waverly at Marshall’s and…
…finally the sparks I had been looking for.
All of the components were at home…
…ready to be pulled together.
The flatware was the most recent purchase, (Calypso by Towel – at Christmas Tree) thanks to the lead from my fellow tablescaper and shrewd shopper Kathleen of Cuisine Kathleen. The beading on the Calypso flatware coordinates so well with the beading on the Emma light blue salad plate.
The chargers are by Persona, the chocolate colored plate and bowl are Leafy Vine by Casual Home by Savino, the salad plate is Emma by Pottery Barn.
I purchased the napkin rings this past fall from Christmas Tree.
Hope you’re enjoying a snowy evening.
I’m having a giveaway of the above tea set. For details, go to my Giveaway Post.

My son was nearby when I was viewing this page and sent his compliments on your music selections. Not only are your tables amazing, so is your taste in music!!!

I love brown and this is just gorgeous! The touch of blue is truly amazing.
I love your music too. I just always have on my player music that my kids listen to. I love the lead song...Vida la something. I am glad that you found your spark. It is such a warm tablescape and I love the shades of blue and brown that you combined. The candleholders are so fun and unusual and I love the new table runner. Happy Tablescape Thursday. Joni
This is wonderful! What a spark you found. I love the runner and the colors that it inspired. It's a perfect table for a winter evening.
On top of creating some of the prettiest tables in blogland, you are also a wonderful photographer.
Ok - I have to admit I was singing along to your music too! Very catchy! Love Coldplay. LOL
Wonderful tablescape - brown and blue are my new favorite color combo. Beautiful scape and photos!
Happy New Year! Mrs. S
Thumbs down on the music, but up on the table! :) Love the combo. Those glasses put it over the top! I haven't used my bowls like that yet, with all the snow I will be in and have time to think about new tables!
I LOVE this color combination!!! This is so pretty!!!!!!!!! It just makes me want to melt into the chocolate brown and be swept away by the sea of soft blue! Gorgeous! Thank you for stopping by my place earlier this evening, and have a terrific weekend!
WOW YOUR TABLE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! THE RUNNER IS GORGEOUS :)

I think you took that "spark" and started a fire...but a cool one! Love the colour combo of brown with that shade of blue. The pine cones add a nice rustic touch. Terrific flatware! Beware of that Kathleen...she finds the best bargains and of course, you can't pass them up! LOL!

Beautiful earthy and color for a change. I love the chocolate mixed with turquoise. Beautiful combo! Your tablescape is fantastic as usual!...Christine
I adore this table. The sublte blues and warm browns are just gorgeous. Those glasses are wonderful with their multiple hues of blue. That table runner is stunning. I agree, I almost feel lost without the theme of the holidays and yet I am glad to move on, a little confused aren't I?
I agree with Joni, I love your music too. It always makes me happy. Joni tried to get music on my blog but we couldn't make it work for some reason - alas!
I love the warmth of the brown plates in your setting. Everything is just so beautiful.
Your tablescape looks amazing!! The colors are beautiful. I love the wicker candle holder.
Kathy
Lovely tablescape. Makes me want a cup of coffee :)
I love brown and blue and you have created a beautiful setting with it. Your goblets really caught my eye. Your new runner and flatware are wonderful too! Beautiful tablescape!
Gorgeous color combination! That runner is perfect, and you've put together a lovely table to complement it. Great stemware!
Great color combination. Haven't seen that before. Well done.
Everything is just lovely. the brown with bits of blue is really stunning.
I love the brown and blue.. It's truly a classic. Your runner is beautiful. And works so beautifully with your dishes. Fabulous table!
Once again, I must conclude that we are alter egos. This could have so been my design. The Waverly is the perfect choice and brings the tablescape to life. I'm actually wearing chocolate and the same blue as I write. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
Tablescaper,
WoW! This brown and blue tablescape has such a serene feel to it! I adore the use of bubble glass. The way that light reflects and bounces off it make the room appear magicial. Thank you for such an elegant, tranquil post.
Fondly,
Pat
I just love the cool blue with the brown, so very beautiful.
Funny how one little thing can be the beginnings of such a beautiful tablescape. Love this one! The colors are perfect for a winter meal.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, LOVE-ly!

That whisper of powder blue is just gorgeous! Love how it softens the chocolate brown. You truly craft wonderful tablescapes!
Lovely. You definitely found the spark. Your photography is wonderful.
Carol
Aqua & Chocolate is one of my favorite color combinations! Your bubble glasses add the spark too, do they have aqua in them as well or is it the reflection I'm seeing? Lovely table, don't you love it when a plan comes together?! :-)
You certainly did find your spark and everything is lovely!!
Love,
Susan and Bentley

Very pretty as your tables always are. Blue and brown are so pretty and calming together. Love the title too!
See you at SS tomorrow!
Nancy
Love your table, and I am giggling because my Thursday's post has the cloth that matches your runner. I have the runners, too, but I was playing with the cloth and had this blog post ready since I failed to post it in the fall. I need to come over and borrow those goblets because they set this whole thing off to absolute perfection, and I like the pop of blue in the candle, too!
And Kathleen did well telling you about that flatware. It's covetable!
Before I close, I wanted to tell you that I read on Christine's blog about you both winning that tablescape contest. Congratulations!
Happy Tablescape Thursday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I wish we had one of those stores here. Your tablescape is so elegant!
Brenda
You've set Such a Beautiful table... I LOVE that color combo and I REALLY love those Emma Plates...
Warm Winter Hugs to you,

Love your blues and browns and the way you pulled this all together.
You and Kathleen are making me so jealous of your shopping trips to The CTS! (I wanted that flatware when I saw it at Kathleens, and now here you are, waving it in my face again!) Y'all find the MOST wonderful bargains there. That gorgeous runner was the perfect inspiration for a tablescape, and you have pulled the blues and browns together so beautifully. What great basket weave candle holders! Thanks so much for linking this to Favorite Things. laurie
