Happy Halloween!!!

My youngest daughter has an early November birthday …

…and that gave us the perfect excuse to have a Halloween birthday party.

 

And yes, those are paper plates and cups. I have long learned that for little children, paper works best.

With lots of treats!

Caramel apples…

Overly sweet cupcakes…

Brownie bites…

Sugar powdered donuts…

A Jack O’ Lantern cake and much more.

And of course a bit of punch.

Now step into the living room.

Rest your hat for a bit.

 

While we whip up a batch of brew.

Now what should we choose?

Reprise of No Tricks, Just Treats

I’m joining Chari at Happy to Design, with a rerun from last year at this time, for her meme called  “Sunday Favorites". It’s a meme designed to give bloggers a chance to share a favorite post from the past.
Please be sure to come and visit Seasonal Sundays. It’s my Sunday meme and it gives bloggers a chance to share what the season means to them. I have a completely different post for Seasonal Sundays, but didn’t want to miss joining in the fun of Sunday Favorites too.

Halloween is just around the corner. No tricks today, just treats!

Where to begin?

Traditional candy corn?

Delicious cookies?

Candy apples, caramel apples?

Or just candy?!?!?!

How about some gummy skulls filled with cherry red juice or your more standard Snickers?

Or maybe a big, fat lolly pop?

Marshmallow monsters?

Chocolate licorice or perhaps a few eye balls?

So many choices.

Sweet and sour skulls and pumpkins

Caramel corn

or a few Ginger snaps?

Pecan brittle?

Or the yummy new dots in candy corn flavor or the black ones flavored with blood oranges?

So many decisions.

A candy stick, a marshmallow ghost?

Or just a few orange slices?

Decisions, decisions

Oh, just try them all.
